A Subtle Epistomological Point

Consider these statements:
  1. “Policy X is wise.”
  2. “Policy X is popular.”
  3. “Policy X is allowed under the U.S. Constitution.”


It’s not widely known, but all of those statements have completely different meanings. Judges and legal scholars, take note.

Too many of our Beloved Leaders think the U.S. Constitution is like the Pirates' Code...advisory, not binding.

I just drank a fifth of rum to simulate how a Senator thinks.

While that drunk I cannot see the difference in those three statements.
